Welcome to Luke Wagner’s weekly Icon painting auctions
Luke is an artist living on the Island of Tasmania in Australia. Tasmania has a wild natural beauty with wonderful expansive places; places to be alone and contemplate in. Luke 's paintings are imbued with a spirituality that, in part ,comes from living on an island.
Each week a 6x8” painting by Luke will be offered for sale by auction to the highest bidder. The paintings are oil and/or acrylic paint and often incorporate gold or silver metalic leaf . They are freestanding with a folding leg at the back and are always 8x6" in size. The paintings are initialled on the face and signed on the verso detailing the icon number and signature .
Luke is on an art study tour of Florence for the next few weeks so the auction for ICON#104 will run until June 8th with a new ICON on his return.
Luke also undertakes ICON painting commissions . So if there is a particular image or theme you like and would prefer a personalised painting purchased outside the normal weekly bidding format please email with your request. The fee for an ICON commission is $350 .

After registration you will receive a newsletter each week letting you know that the auction is underway ,then later in the week, a reminder near the close of bids. Bidding will open at $100AUD 3pm Friday and run the course of one week after which the highest bidder wins the painting.
Luke will carefully package the painting and post it with registered and trackable Australia Post.
Payment is best done with credit card . When you click to pay you are automatically directed off this site to ANZ eGate , a secure and safe payment zone , no credit card details are recorded on this site whatsoever it is all strictly through ANZ .
